GRIDS

Oil Paintings by
Jean Foos

Jean Foos’ oil paintings engage viewers with a seemingly endless array of grid and loop motifs in vivid and contrasting colors. Their powerful poetic presence is attained through a fragile weave of the patterns and structures found in the urban environment. Her grid designs, deceptively simple yet insisting, reflect her longtime interest in painting as a process.
